Andrew Porisch, Project Manager

Andrew is a senior at Interlake High School. He lives in Bellevue, Washington, and joined the American Immigration Forum in the summer of 2014. He joined the American Immigration Forum because the national discussion concerning immigration policy has personal significance for him and furthers his interest in politics. His mother is an immigrant from South Korea, and was fortunate to obtain citizenship soon after she began to live in the United States. My father has German and English roots, and he considers himself to be multicultural. Bellevue and Interlake High School have diverse communities and students with rich cultural backgrounds that he’s been fortunate to experience my entire life, and he hopes to be able to facilitate discussion about the importance of this diversity to the national community of the United States.
